Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway construction project (section from Km19+000-Km53+000 in Hoa Binh province) has a total length of about 32.5km. Phase 1 of the Project is invested in a 2-lane scale with road embankment width of Bn=12m, road lane width of Bm=7m and design speed is 80Km/h for the route, 60km/h for sections with difficult terrain. The route includes Hoa Son cable-stayed bridge designed with a 4-lane scale as the completion stage and the remaining bridges are designed with a 2-lane scale.
The project includes three tunnels designed with one tube with 2 lanes. Total investment for phase 1 is 9,777 billion VND.
In the completion stage, the project will be designed with a scale of 04 lanes with road embankment width of Bn=22m, road lane width of Bm=14m. In addition, bridges, tunnels, etc. will be constructed in accordance with the scale of the expressway
