DEVELOPMENT POLICY OPERATION PROGRAM FOR MEKONG DELTA REGION

The Government of Vietnam has achieved the goal of developing the Mekong Delta region towards the sustainable development and adaptation to climate change. In which, the development of transport infrastructure system is one of the important requirement and in need of capital mobilization from private and international donnors.

NKV experts engaged for the SC 118754 VIE: Mekong Delta Regional Master Plan under ADB to conduct quick assessment of six project proposals under the Master Plan. The purpose is for ADB to understand the project outline, preparedness, and highlights/challenges of the project proposals in accordance with ADB’s key due diligence areas. In addition, NKV also supports NK for Data Collection Survey on Transportation Network for Regional Economic Development in Mekong Delta under JICA to formulate new road & bridge projects including their preparation conditions and applicability to Japan’s ODA.
