Cu Mong Pass is on NH1A in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province and the ending point is in Phu Yen province, which is known as the most abrupt pass in Vietnam using the remaining investment cost of the Ca Pass project.
The total length of the Cu Mong Tunnel project is 6.62 km, including 2.6 km of tunnel, 2 km of the north approach road, and 2.02 km of the south approach road. The ancillary buildings include 01 Traffic Management Center (TMC), 01 Rescue centre, 01 Toll Plaza and 02 service Areas (North & South). The Cu Mong Tunnel project assisted cars in avoiding gridlock on the hazardous route and reduced the trip from 30 minutes to only 6 minutes.
