Berth 5&6 has the longest berth in Vietnam with (900m length), which can accommodate the most prominent vessels in the world with a capacity of 200.000DWT. Building a new international deep-sea port and related basic infrastructure in the Lach Huyen area to meet the increasing demand in cargo volume and the increase of larger vessels in the maritime transportation contributing to economic development and competitiveness in the international market. The Project includes three main items: i) Port item: Main berth includes 02 berths with total length of 900m, 02 barge berths and service berth; ii) Container yard item is designed with a capacity of 1,800,000 TEUs/year and iii) Technical Infrastructure system.
