Nippon Koei signs consulting contract for Planning of Bau Can – Tan Hiep IP with Tan Hiep IP JSC.

On June 17, 2025, at the office of Tan Hiep IP JSC, the contract signing ceremony for the 1/2000-scale planning concept of Bau Can – Tan Hiep Industrial Park (Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province) took place between Tan Hiep IP JSC. – the Client, and the consulting firm Nippon Koei.
Nippon Koei Vietnam International Co., Ltd., represented both parties in the signing ceremony.
Bau Can – Tan Hiep project is envisioned to become an industrial – logistics hub that is modern, developed according to the green – smart – integrated industrial park model. The industrial park uses rooftop renewable energy systems, advanced wastewater and waste treatment systems. Synchronous technical infrastructure meets international standards for sustainable development.
The master plan also includes green space and a full range of supporting facilities such as accommodations and living spaces for experts, housing for workers, a general hospital, inter-level schools, vocational training centers, sports areas, supermarkets, and other essential amenities for professionals and workers.
The project aims to meet the criteria of an eco-industrial park as defined by UNIDO (2017), contributing to Vietnam’s goal of net zero emissions (Net Zero 2050).
According to the developer, the selection of Nippon Koei as the planning consultant reflects the project’s strong commitment to high-quality planning, ensuring international standards and alignment with the direction of clean, energy-efficient, and sustainable industrial development.
This signing marks an important first step in realizing the project’s sustainable development strategy, building an integrated economic–industrial ecosystem in Dong Nai. It also aims to attract high-tech, high-value industries, thereby contributing meaningfully to scientific progress, innovation, and the socio-economic growth of both Dong Nai and Vietnam.
