Nippon Koei Welcomes Delegation from Tay Ninh Province in Tokyo

On November 18, 2025, Nippon Koei welcomed a delegation from Tay Ninh province, including leaders of provincial departments and representatives of Dong Tam Group, to the Group’s headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

During the meeting, Mr. Yasusuke Kurosaki, Representative Director of Nippon Koei, provided an overview of the Group’s history and development as Japan’s first independent engineering consulting firm, with nearly 80 years of operation and more than 5,500 projects across 160 countries. In Vietnam, the company has participated in many significant national projects since the 1950s, particularly in the fields of planning, transportation, energy, and urban development.

The delegation from Tay Ninh province expressed strong interest in the comprehensive planning and master-design solutions that Nippon Koei could provide for industrial park projects being developed by Dong Tam Group in the province. Both sides discussed in detail the development orientation, technical requirements, and optimal solutions suitable for the province’s terrain conditions and infrastructure development needs.

During the discussion, leaders of Tay Ninh’s departments raised a number of questions regarding the design of elevated structures, construction costs, engineering solutions for low-lying areas, and Nippon Koei’s implementation capabilities in Vietnam. Representatives of Nippon Koei shared the Group’s international experience and proposed appropriate approaches tailored to each type of project.

The meeting took place in an open and constructive atmosphere, demonstrating Tay Ninh province’s strong interest in collaborating with reputable international consulting firms such as Nippon Koei to promote sustainable infrastructure, industrial, and urban development.

Earlier, Nippon Koei Vietnam, Dong Tam Group, and Greenbank signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on research, consulting, and planning for industrial and urban development projects in Vietnam. With Nippon Koei’s extensive expertise and the close cooperation of local partners, the parties aim to deliver optimal solutions that enhance investment effectiveness and contribute to the socio-economic development of local communities.

The meeting with Tay Ninh delegation and Dong Tam Group in Tokyo further reaffirmed Nippon Koei’s commitment to supporting Vietnamese localities and enterprises in developing high-quality, sustainable, and long-lasting projects.
